Job summary

Resources for Human Development (RHD) in New Castle County, Delaware, seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults; per diem position with flexible shifts.

Work with a multidisciplinary team in outpatient behavioral health services; flexible schedule, opportunity for professional growth, and DailyPay available.

Qualifications

• RN license and PMHNP certification as applicable
• DEA registration and CPR certifications required
• ACLS/PALS certifications preferred
• At least 1 year experience in community clinic or similar setting
• Experience in psychiatric care and medication management

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications within guidelines.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and options.
• Provide therapy when appropriate.
• Complete timely documentation in the EHR and maintain progress notes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and proper coding/billing.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, therapists, PCPs and community resources.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and quality initiatives.
