Job summary

Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in New Castle County, Delaware, on a per diem, flexible schedule basis with compensation starting at $80 per hour. Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Nurse Practitioner Certification (Psychiatric PMHNP preferred or as required).
• Current DEA Registration.
• Current CPR Certification.
• ACLS and PALS Certifications.
• Minimum one year of experience in a community clinic or similar healthcare setting.
• Experience providing psychiatric care and medication management.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing mental health treatment.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications within established clinical guidelines.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and medications.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in the EHR system and maintain progress notes.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, therapists, primary care providers, and community resources.
