Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Preop Recovery RN for per diem coverage in our Ambulatory Surgical Center. The RN will deliver nursing care from pre-op through PACU, following physician orders and center policies, and will supervise staff as needed.

The ideal candidate has an active RN license in the state, current CPR and ACLS, and is available for per diem shifts. PALS within 90 days is required; prior perioperative experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state.
• Current CPR and ACLS; PALS within 90 days of hire.
• One year in pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Two years of experience in Medical/Surgical, ED, and/or ICU nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with the nursing process in an Ambulatory Surgical Center setting.
• Oversee and guide employees under supervision.
• Support and promote the Center's philosophy and mission.
• Deliver nursing care to patients per physician orders and center policies.
