Job summary

CPIhealth, a multidisciplinary pain care provider in Lone Tree, CO, seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem work in our Ambulatory Surgery Center. You will support pre-, intra-, and post-anesthesia care and ensure patient safety and aseptic technique throughout procedures.

You should have an accredited RN program (ASN/BSN) with perioperative experience, strong communication skills, and EMR proficiency (NextGen/ECW). ACLS/BLS are required or obtainable after hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
• Successful completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program, ASN/BSN.
• Perioperative, OR, or ambulatory surgery nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR (NextGen/ECW) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre- and post-operative phone calls with patients and communicates any concerns to the appropriate provider or team member.
• Monitors patients receiving moderate/conscious sedation, including assessment of airway status, level of consciousness, hemodynamic stability, oxygenation, and pain response.
• Verifies surgeon preference card accuracy prior to each case and ensures required instrumentation is available.
• Responds promptly to clinical emergencies within the ASC per ACLS guidelines.
• Protects patient privacy and HIPAA/PHI compliance.
