Job summary

Physicians Endoscopy Center of One Nineteen seeks a Per Diem RN for PreOp/PACU duties. You will prepare patients, monitor vital signs and recovery, and coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia teams to ensure safe perioperative care.

This role emphasizes meticulous assessment, clear communication, and timely discharge planning. Requirements include an RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and ASC experience with pediatric exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in appropriate State with BLS/ACLS/PALS.
• ASC experience and pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery and monitor vitals before and after anesthesia.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and pain needs; document nursing care.
• Communicate with surgical team, venipuncture and post-op care as needed.
• Ensure readiness for discharge with appropriate instructions.
