Job summary

VTP (VIC the PICC) seeks experienced PICC RNs with strong vascular access expertise in Long Beach, CA. You will place PICCs, midlines, and IVs under ultrasound guidance and support treatment plans across hospital and ambulatory settings.

This role requires an active RN license, 3+ years of acute care experience, and BLS certification. A smartphone is needed for scheduling and documentation; travel between patient sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active license.
• PICC/midline/vascular device placement experience using ultrasound.
• USGIVs experience.
• VAD management experience.
• BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• 3+ years of acute care RN experience.
• Smartphone required.

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance.
• Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation.
• Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices.
• Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, and declotting.
• Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and other CVADs.
