Job summary

VTP Holdings in California is seeking a Vascular Access Nurse Consultant (PICC RN) to place PICCs and IVs using ultrasound guidance across Orange County and the Inland Empire. The role supports travel to customer facilities and offers full-time or per diem options for experienced PICC RNs.

Candidates should have USGIV placement experience, VAD management skills, BLS certification, a valid driver's license, and a smartphone to coordinate scheduling and documentation.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current, active license.
• Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs).
• Experience in vascular access device (VAD) management including care, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• American Heart BLS Certification.
• Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and meet scheduling requirements as indicated by job classification.
• Must possess a smart phone.

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance.
• Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation.
• Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices.
• Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, and declotting.
• Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and other CVADs.
