Job summary

VTP Holdings, LLC is seeking experienced PICC RNs for per diem nursing consultancy in the Portland, Oregon area. Prior independent PICC insertion experience is required, and PICC certification training is not provided.

As a Vascular Access Nurse Consultant, you will place PICCs and midlines using ultrasound, manage vascular access devices, educate facility staff, and travel to customer sites as needed. Strong autonomy and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of acute care RN experience.
• Experience placing PICCs, midlines, or other vascular access devices using ultrasound.
• Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs).
• American Heart BLS Certification.
• Registered Nurse with current, active license.
• Must possess a smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance.
• Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation.
• Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices.
• Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, and declotting.
• Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and other CVADs.
