Better @ Home, part of the LHC Group within the Optum family, is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant to provide treatment and education under the plan of care in patients' homes.

Responsibilities include following state laws, assisting with gait and mobility, documenting responses, and coordinating with the care team. Requires active PT assistant license and a valid driver’s license; weekend availability is preferred.

Competenze

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Mansioni

• Follow state laws governing home care PT practice and adhere to the supervising PT’s plan of care.
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADLs, and mobility.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate care with the healthcare team.
