Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time per diem Phlebotomist to support all three shifts as needed in the 60475 IL ACL Laboratories - Lutheran: Phlebotomy department. The role requires no prior experience beyond High School and offers a pay range of $19.80 - $29.70 per hour.

Responsibilities include patient verification, specimen collection, labeling, and processing under CLIA guidelines. Per diem schedule allows coverage across shifts based on need.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required.
• Knowledge of phlebotomy and basic computer skills; typing ability.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and ensure safety; collect specimens per protocol.
• Perform venipuncture and collect newborn, pediatric and adult samples as needed.
• Label and track specimens; ensure proper identification and timely testing.
