Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in phlebotomy or related laboratory functions preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service skills interfacing with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification prior to specimen collection.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens across newborn to adult patients.
• Label specimens correctly and ensure proper handling for testing.
• Prepare specimens for testing and load instruments as required.
• Respond to inquiries and assist with billing/support as needed.
• Maintain inventory and equipment; follow safety procedures.
