Penn Medicine Doylestown Health is seeking a Per Diem Patient Care Technician within the IVU department at 595 West State Street, Doylestown PA. You will provide direct patient care and assist with selected therapeutic interventions under RN supervision, ensuring safety and quality care.

This role supports daily patient activities, vital signs, specimen collection, phlebotomy and EKG tasks as needed, with emphasis on teamwork and excellent patient service within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/ GED Required.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy and ECG experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides safe and efficient direct patient care with age-specific accommodations.
• Recognizes and reports abnormal observations to the RN in a timely manner.
• Responds to patient/family requests with excellent customer service.
• Promotes patient safety by adhering to protocols and Joint Commission goals.
• Assists with admission, transfer and discharge processes and room prep.
• Performs vital signs, intake/output, and phlebotomy/ECG as required.
