Job summary

Penn Medicine Doylestown Health ICU is seeking a Full Time Night Shift (7pm-7am) caregiver to provide direct patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, performing selected procedures, and supporting admission, transfer and discharge processes.

Qualified candidates will have a HS Diploma or GED, hospital experience, and preferred phlebotomy/ECG experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient direct patient care with consideration for age-specific accommodations.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and health care team members to achieve excellence in patient care.
• Maintains safety precautions and reports equipment issues promptly.
• Assists in admission, transfer and discharge processes and ensures patient room readiness.
• Responds to patient/family requests with excellent customer service.
• Demonstrates competence in vital signs, intake/output, and selected therapeutic interventions.
