Responsibilities

Collect blood specimens from patients of all ages using venipuncture and capillary techniques while following infection control and safety protocols.
Verify patient identity using at least two identifiers and ensure proper labeling of specimens at the collection site.
Prepare, label, and deliver specimens to appropriate lab departments within required time frames while maintaining sample integrity.
