Job summary

UMass Memorial Health Marlborough Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomist for the Marlborough, MA location. This full-time position runs on the Evening shift (12:00 PM–8:30 PM), on-site, with a 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient phlebotomy across all ages, lab order entry, and specimen handling. The role requires a high school diploma and phlebotomy training; hospital experience preferred. A potential signing bonus may be offered.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience preferred in hospital settings.
• Knowledge of lab order entry and ABN processing is a plus.
• Proficient in specimen labeling and patient instruction.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and outpatient phlebotomy for all ages.
• Enter orders into Meditech and other lab systems.
• Prepare specimens for transport and assist in accompanying tests.
• Provide patient instructions and support related to procedures.
• Track supplies and assist with clerical tasks in the laboratory.
