Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a Phlebotomist for per diem in White Plains, NY. This part-time role requires phlebotomy competence, English fluency, and basic lab knowledge.

You will draw blood, process specimens, and support the satellite lab with scheduling and documentation. Experience in patient scheduling and order management is preferred; BLS/HeartSaver certification is required, with health care setting experience valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training preferred.
• 0–1 years experience; 2–4 years preferred.
• HeartSaver or BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Ability to communicate in English in writing and speech.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work with high accuracy.
• Receptionist experience preferred; scheduling/orders knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Uses aseptic technique to draw blood cultures.
• Processes specimens and routes to main lab.
• Coordinates with couriers for Stat pickups.
• Trains staff on lab policies.
• Maintains inventory and lab records.
• Documents test results and callbacks.
