Job summary

Nevada Health Centers is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a per diem role in Las Vegas, NV. The technician will process outpatient prescriptions, mail-out orders, and repackage medications for remote sites, while delivering excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Under supervision, duties include inventory management, training support, and travel to remote sites for education and site reviews. PTCB certification is preferred and ongoing education is required.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification preferred; if not certified on hire, will take the exam within 6 months and pass within 10 months.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking stock levels, ordering, and removing outdated drugs.
• Monitors stock prices and updates drug costs in pharmacy software.
• Prepares prescription orders for pharmacist to dispense and labels medications.
• Processes clinic orders and mail-out prescriptions to remote sites.
• Troubleshoots pharmacy software and equipment and assists off-site staff as needed.
