Job summary

Nevada Health Centers is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Per Diem in Las Vegas, NV. Under supervision, you will process outpatient prescriptions, assist with mail orders, and repackage medications for distribution to remote sites.

Responsibilities include inventory management, customer service, and using pharmacy software. Occasional travel to remote sites for training and site reviews is required.

Qualifications

• PTCB preferred; if not certified on date of hire, will take the PTCB exam within 6 months and pass within 10 months.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmacy workflow, pharmacy software, and EHR; knowledge of 340B regulations and billing procedures for third party payers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and verify stock levels; order to meet demand.
• Prepare prescription orders and packaging for dispensing and mailing.
• Monitor temperatures and vaccine management where applicable; maintain records.
• Provide high-quality customer service to patients in person and by phone; assist remote sites.
• Travel occasionally to visit remote sites for reviews and training.
