Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum, is seeking a Float Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support mental health and specialty pharmacy operations across Las Vegas sites. The role dispenses prescriptions and handles clerical tasks under supervision of a pharmacist, with an 8-hour shift from 8:00am to 6:00pm PST.

You must have an active Nevada Pharmacy Technician license, reliable transportation, and be willing to travel to the additional sites.

Qualifications

• Active NV Pharmacy Technician license.
• Access to reliable transportation and US driver''s license.
• Ability to travel to multiple sites for coverage.

Responsibilities

• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Provides exceptional customer service to patients and staff.
• Orders, receives and stores pharmacy supplies and processes wholesaler orders.
• Verifies stock and records inventory in the system.
• Assists in pharmacy functions and ensures compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Performs clerical duties within the department.
