Job summary

Nevada Health Centers is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Las Vegas to process outpatient prescriptions, manage inventory, and support remote sites. You will deliver friendly customer service, ensure accurate labeling, and assist the pharmacist with dispensing and training at remote locations.

A focus on 340B compliance and accurate transaction handling is essential. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, teamwork with pharmacy staff, and adherence to regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications

• PTCB preferred; if not certified, must take exam within 6 months and pass within 10 months.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmacy workflow, software and EHR.
• Knowledge of sig codes, brand/generic names and therapeutic class for common drugs.
• Knowledge of 340B regulations and pharmacy policy.
• Ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
• Confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Willingness to travel to remote sites for training or site visits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pharmacy inventory levels and stock accuracy.
• Process outpatient prescriptions and mail-order shipments.
• Greet customers and provide excellent service at the counter.
• Operate POS system and handle cash/insurance transactions.
• Troubleshoot pharmacy software and equipment; assist remote sites.
