Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Pharmacy Intern under supervision to prepare and distribute medications and IV solutions, and to support the pharmacy team across units.

You will assist with packaging, labeling, aseptic compounding, inventory, and OR kit preparation, while learning under pharmacists and supervisors. Enrollment in an accredited pharmacy degree program and year-2 completed are required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited pharmacy degree program and have completed year 2.
• Basic familiarity with computers and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and distributes medications and IV solutions under supervision.
• Drives labeling, packaging and distribution of medications and IV solutions.
• Restocks inventory and monitors automated dispensing cabinetry.
• Assists with aseptic technique in compounding and OR kit prep.
• Maintains stock levels and checks for expired medications.
