Job summary

Curexa-Pharmacy- is seeking a Per Diem / On-Call Pharmacist to support daily operations in a retail setting. You will review prescriptions, counsel patients, and supervise staff as needed while maintaining compliance with HIPAA, DEA, and state regulations.

Applicants should hold a BS or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited college, possess an active license, complete NAPLEX and state law exams, and be able to pass background checks. Bilingual in Spanish a plus but not required.

Qualifications

BS or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
Active pharmacist license in good standing with the state Board of Pharmacy.
Successful completion of internship requirements and NAPLEX (and state law exam).
Ability to pass background checks (criminal, Medicare exclusion, fingerprinting).
Preferred: 3-5 years of retail, independent, or clinical pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions accurately
Counsel patients on prescription and OTC medications
Supervise and support pharmacy staff as needed
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations (HIPAA, DEA, etc.)
Maintain inventory, workflow, and a clean, safe pharmacy environment
