Job summary

The position requires a PharmD or Bachelors in Pharmacy, a GA Pharmacist license, and 1+ year of retail/clinic experience. Travel to Atlanta may be needed; per diem schedule hours vary with pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in GA in good standing.
• Pharmacy degree from an accredited university.
• 1+ year of full-time retail or clinic pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to mentor and supervise staff in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage pharmacy operations and fill in for the PIC.
• Dispense, order, and maintain inventory of drugs and supplies per laws.
• Direct activities and workflow of the pharmacy staff.
• Collaborate with physicians on potential drug incompatibilities.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws for pharmacy practice.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and patient privacy.
• Uphold a professional, customer-friendly workplace and represent company values.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
