Job summary

Curexa-Pharmacy- is seeking a Per Diem / On-Call Pharmacist to support daily operations in a retail setting. You will review prescriptions, counsel patients, and supervise staff as needed while maintaining compliance with HIPAA, DEA, and state regulations.

Applicants should hold a BS or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited college, possess an active license, complete NAPLEX and state law exams, and be able to pass background checks. Bilingual in Spanish a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• BS or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the state Board of Pharmacy.
• Successful completion of internship requirements and NAPLEX (and state law exam).
• Ability to pass background checks (criminal, Medicare exclusion, fingerprinting).
• Preferred: 3-5 years of retail, independent, or clinical pharmacy experience.

Job description

Per Diem / On-Call Pharmacist

The Per Diem Pharmacist reports to the Pharmacist-in-Charge/Pharmacy Manager and supports daily pharmacy operations.

Key Skills

• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy software and third-party billing (or willingness to learn)
• Solid knowledge of medications, dosing, interactions, and counseling
• Ability to perform basic pharmacy math

Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits:

• Rate of Pay: $60.00 - $62.00 per hour
