Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. Shifts include 7a-7p and 7p-7a. Per diem with flexible scheduling and daily/weekly pay options.

Candidates must have Virginia RN license, BLS and ACLS, and recent PCU experience. This role offers hospital-based opportunities and a responsive local staffing team.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• AHA BLS and ACLS current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption as required by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status; document changes.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams; coordinate patient plans.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and infection-control standards.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.

• Active
• Virginia RN LicenseMinimum
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 yearsCurrent
