Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking a PCU RN for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. You will assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, and collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver high-quality nursing care.

Shifts available include 7a-7p and 7p-7a with flexible scheduling. Per diem pay is competitive and daily/weekly pay options are offered. Ideal candidates will have an active VA RN license, BLS/ACLS, and recent PCU experience.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license and current AHA BLS/ACLS.
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within 12 months or as required by facility.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.

• Active
• Virginia RN LicenseMinimum
