First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Choose the shifts that fit your life with options from 7a-7p and 7p-7a, and enjoy flexible scheduling and local support.

Per diem pay is competitive, with daily and weekly pay options. This role supports hospitals in Virginia with locally owned, responsive staffing.

Qualifications

• RN license active in Virginia.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience within past 4 years.
• ACLS and BLS certifications current as required.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.

Responsabilités

• Assessing and monitoring patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status changes.
• Administer medications and IV therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and safety standards.
• Educate patients and families about care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units as needed.

PCU RN Requirements

• Active
• Virginia RN LicenseMinimum
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 yearsCurrent
• AHA BLS Current
• AHA ACLS Current
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold
• test within the past 12 monthsCOVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemptionAdditional credentials may be required based on facility assignment
