First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts. You can choose from 7a-7p or 7p-7a shifts and decide how many shifts to work monthly.

This role offers competitive per diem pay, daily/weekly pay options, and the flexibility to shape your schedule while working in hospital settings across the Hampton Roads area.

Competenze

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• AHA BLS Current and ACLS Current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Mansioni

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications and IV therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.

• Active
• Virginia RN LicenseMinimum
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 yearsCurrent
