Job summary

First Choice Nurses is hiring PCU registered nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. You set your own schedule, with options for as little as one shift per month or an expanded calendar. Shifts run 7a-7p or 7p-7a, and daily/weekly pay options are available.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS current credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in PCU.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient changes.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain timely electronic medical records and infection-control standards.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.

• Active
• Virginia RN LicenseMinimum
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 yearsCurrent
