First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Take control of your schedule with flexible shifts, day or night, and competitive per diem pay.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• 2 years PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• AHA BLS current.
• AHA ACLS current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
