Job summary

First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. Shifts run 7a-7p and 7p-7a, and you can build a fuller schedule by picking shifts that fit your life.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• AHA BLS and ACLS current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test current.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.

• Active
• Virginia RN LicenseMinimum
