First Choice Nurses is hiring PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Take control of your schedule with shifts from 7a-7p and 7p-7a, and enjoy the freedom to pick when you work.

You’ll join a locally owned staffing team offering competitive per diem pay, daily/weekly pay options, and the ability to work as little as one shift per month. Virginia license and BLS/ACLS are required.

Formación

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required by facility.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
