First Choice Nurses is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts throughout Hampton Roads, Virginia. Shifts run 7a-7p and 7p-7a, giving you flexibility to build a schedule that fits your life.

Choose your own shifts, earn competitive per diem pay, and receive daily or weekly pay options. Active Virginia RN license and BLS/ACLS required. Per diem nurses support hospitals with staffing needs, offering ongoing work, diverse units, and a locally owned staffing team.

Qualificações

• Active Virginia RN license.
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• AHA BLS Current.
• AHA ACLS Current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
