First Choice Nurses is hiring PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Shifts from 7a–7p and 7p–7a enable you to build a flexible schedule that fits your life.

Pick up desired shifts with daily or weekly pay options and enjoy hospital-based opportunities supported by a responsive local team. Begin a relationship with a locally owned staffing company with 15+ years in the field.

Formación

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional facility credentials may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
