Qualifications

• Complete and pass Patient Access training.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented, organized, team player and excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance terminology preferred.
• Regulatory guidelines including HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA and Medicare.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and timely processing within department.
• Maintain knowledge of Baptist Health pricing, financial assistance and Revenue Cycle operations.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to patients, families and staff.
