Qualifications

Completion of a NAACLS program for Pathologists’ Assistant.
Minimum of one year’s experience as a Pathologists’ Assistant, including grossing complex specimens and autopsies.
ASCP certification as Pathologists’ Assistant (PA).
Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

Gross descriptions, dissection of surgical specimens and tissue prep for processing.
Perform/supervise post‑mortem exams with supervision of attending pathologist.
Teach and engage in special activities as designated by leadership.
