Job Description Summary Purpose Performs comprehensive macroscopic examination for Pathology specimens in preparation for Pathologist microscopic examination. Handles specimens that require dissection and orientation and assists in the preparation of frozen sections with the Pathologists during normal working hours. Perform duties under the supervision on the PA Supervisor.

Master’s degree in health science, Pathologists’ Assistant Current license from New York State Department of Education as a Pathologist’s Assistant or eligible to obtain. ASCP certification.
Pay Range: $47.50 - $65.00 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
