Job summary

Virtua in Voorhees Township, NJ seeks a Paramedic to deliver advanced pre-hospital care in a high-impact community. You will perform patient assessment, administer care per protocols, and document care with accuracy.

The ideal candidate is a state-certified Paramedic with BLS experience, CPR, ACLS/PALS or PEPP/ITLS, EVOC, a valid driver’s license, and completion of NIMS/ICS training. High school diploma or GED required; graduate from a recognized Paramedic program.

Qualifications

• Previous BLS experience.
• Graduate of a recognized Paramedic Training Program.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessment and provides appropriate treatment according to established protocols and medical command in the pre-hospital setting.
• Accurately and completely documents patient assessment, treatment, response to treatment and transfer of care upon completion of every incident.
• Operates MICU vehicles in a safe, defensive and courteous manner; adheres to driving policies and ensures vehicle is fueled and operable.
