Job summary

Virtua Health in Voorhees, NJ seeks a part-time EMT-Basic to provide high-quality emergency medical response and interfacility transport. You will assess patients, administer BLS care, document care in ePCR, and ensure vehicle readiness while following state protocols. Per diem hours and a competitive hourly rate are offered.

This role supports clinical teams, delivers compassionate care, and requires active NJ EMT-Basic certification (or National Registry). Training and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of EMT-Basic Training Program.
• New Jersey EMT certification preferred or equivalent (National Registry).

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality 911 emergency medical response and/or interfacility transport.
• Performs patient assessments and delivers basic life support per NJ protocols.
• Operates ambulances safely and documents care using the ePCR system.
• Maintains vehicle/equipment readiness and adheres to infection control procedures.
• Mentors new staff and trainees as needed.
