Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital in Post Falls, Idaho, is seeking a compassionate RN for our PACU/Pre-Op Unit on a per-diem basis, with about one shift per week.

In this fast-paced role you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, supervise admissions/discharges, and manage meds and supplies, supporting patient safety and quality care.

Experience in PACU/CCU/ER preferred; Idaho RN license required; BSN preferred; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications either current or obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Idaho required.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS within 6 months of employment.
• Experience in PACU, critical care or ER preferred.
• Strong verbal and written English communication for safe patient care.

Responsibilities

• Direct and provide professional nursing care in PACU/Pre-Op; pre-op and recovery duties.
• Delegate nursing tasks, prepare schedules, monitor admissions/discharges.
• Oversee medicines, supplies, and ensure documentation standards.
