Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital in Post Falls, ID is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for the PACU/Pre-Op unit on a per-diem basis. You will provide professional nursing care, work across pre-op and recovery, and use the nursing process to guide patient care.

Requirements include Idaho RN licensure, BSN preferred, and BLS with ACLS/PALS within six months. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in our fast-paced environment with variable shifts.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Idaho is required or imminent.
• Previous PACU/CCU/ER experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
• Clear English communication; ability to work with others and follow standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct and provide professional nursing care in PACU/Pre-Op unit.
• Work in both pre-op and recovery settings using the nursing process.
• Delegate assignments, plan schedules, oversee admissions and discharges.
• Monitor and order medications and medical supplies as needed.
