Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. seeks a compassionate Per Diem (PRN) Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will deliver person-centered OT services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist, helping residents improve independence and quality of life.

Texas OTA license and COTA credential are required; SNF or long-term care experience is preferred. We offer flexible schedules and competitive compensation to support residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas OTA license required.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an OT.
• Relay information and referrals to the OT.
• Ensure treatments align with the plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response and report changes.
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely.
• Attend required Rehab Director meetings.
