Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (per diem, days) to join the Operating Room team. The scrub tech prepares the sterile field, anticipates surgical team needs, maintains aseptic technique, and handles instruments and specimens with precision.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Acute care OR experience 1–3 years preferred.

• The Operating Room Scrub Technician supports safe, efficient surgical care by preparing the sterile field, anticipating team needs, maintaining aseptic technique, and handling instruments and specimens.
• Scrub Tech is a critical perioperative team member contributing to patient safety, infection prevention and workflow efficiency in acute care.
