Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County seeks a Nurse Extern to assist the nursing team under RN supervision, contributing to patient comfort and safety. The role emphasizes relationship-based care and collaboration across units, with ongoing learning and adherence to clinical pathways.

The extern will support care delivery while progressing through an accredited nursing program and maintaining licensure and required certifications.

Qualifications

Enrollment in accredited nursing program with first semester completed including fundamentals of nursing.
Current Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in Florida preferred.
Provide evidence of continued enrollment and progress toward graduation as a nurse each semester.

Responsabilités

Support nursing team by performing assigned tasks under RN supervision.
Contribute to patient comfort and well-being within scope of practice.
Engage in Relationship Based Care across six dimensions: Resources, Teamwork, Care Delivery, Outcomes, Professional Practice and Leadership.
Participate in JMC Pathway data-driven decision making and demonstrate teamwork and communication.
Maintain compliance with Joint Commission education requirements and professional licensing.
