Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Extern to support the nursing team by performing specific tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role emphasizes safe passage for patients and alignment with the six dimensions of Relationship Based Care.

Externals must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program or a recent graduate within 6 months, with Florida CNA licensure and BLS certification. The position supports development through structured pathways and collaborative teamwork.

Competenze

Current CNA licensure in Florida.
BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
Two letters of recommendations from a nursing school instructor, one may be from employer.
For each subsequent semester, must provide evidence of continued enrollment and progress toward graduation as a nurse. An employee may remain a Nurse Extern for a maximum of two and a half years.
