Jupiter Medical Center in Florida is seeking a Nurse Extern who will support patient comfort and well-being under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Candidates should be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and nearing completion of the first semester, including fundamentals of nursing.

BLS certification is preferred, with two letters of recommendations required. Eligible externs may remain in the program for up to two and a half years, participating in Safe Passage

Competenze

• Current enrollment in accredited nursing program with completion of first semester including fundamentals of nursing.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• Two letters of recommendations from a nursing school instructor, one may be from employer.
• For each subsequent semester, must provide evidence (transcript, grade report) of continued enrollment and progress toward graduation as a nurse.
• An employee may remain a Nurse Extern for a maximum of two and one-half years.
