Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-facility rehab team. The OTA will implement therapy programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments to help patients restore function and independence.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited OTA program, hold initial NBCOT certification, and be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Collaborate with teammates and coordinate care to help patients regain independence.
• Address whole-patient needs with compassionate, patient-centered care.
