Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant for per diem home health visits in Washington. The OTA will provide in-home therapy under supervision, following the plan of care and state laws to maximize patients’ physical abilities.

Qualifications

• WA licensure in Occupational Therapy Assistant required and in good standing.
• Must be certified and in good standing with NBCOT.
• CPR certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 90 days).

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing occupational therapy in home care, within supervising OT guidance.
• Follow plan of care; assist patients with evidence-based treatment.
• Observe, report patient responses and changes to supervisor/physician.
• Instruct patient, family, and health team in therapy within OTA scope.
• Provide care in diverse home settings regardless of client background.
