Good Shepherd Rehabilitation in Center Valley, PA seeks an Occupational Therapist to facilitate restoration of function for patients with rehabilitation needs. Per diem, day/evening shifts, variable as needed.

The role involves collaborating with the care team, assessing patient needs, documenting progress, and adjusting care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. Licensure as an OT and BLS CPR are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
• Occupational Therapist license required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient condition upon physician order and at intervals during shift.
• Set goals and collaborate with health-care team, patients and families.
• Document interventions and responses.
• Revise care plans based on patient response.
• Provide educational information to patients and care teams about treatments and continuing care.
• Identify process improvements to enhance care outcomes.
• Maintain communication with care management regarding variances from the plan or discharge plans.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and safety procedures.
• Support a clean, safe working environment and equipment maintenance.
