Job summary

Methodist Health System is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee evening and night shifts within the nursing departments. The RN in this role will delegate and coordinate functions, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies.

Responsibilities include staffing decisions, performance guidance, and collaboration with leadership to meet patient care standards. Prior leadership and CCU/ICU exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of RN experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Active Texas nursing licensure or eligibility required.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Leadership and/or ICU/CCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and direct evening and night nursing operations.
• Delegate authority for programs across nursing departments.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and integrity of medical records.
• Hire, manage and supervise Resource/PRN staff as needed.
• Communicate professionally and maintain professional standards.
